Example 1
After attending a dinner with fellow Villa staff commemorating the strong local community partnership at the Elks Lodge in Pasadena, we invited the organization to participate in this joint post celebrating the Elks’ recent hiring of one of our program participants.
Example 2
When the Pasadena community was devastated by the Eaton Fire, which burned over 14,000 acres near our organization, I launched an awareness campaign for our donation drive. I also reached out to the Mayor of Pasadena, Mayor Gordo, who kindly featured a post I made on his Instagram story to help raise awareness.
3. Analytics and Strategy
Results
In my first 10 months as PR Coordinator at Villa Esperanza Services, I increased the organization’s organic Instagram reach by 702% after taking charge of posting on Instagram and Facebook. To further improve my strategy, I scheduled Zoom meetings with marketing coordinators from similar organizations to learn from their experiences and gain insights on content growth. I built community partnerships and worked to curate more partnered posts on our social media pages, thus leading to more visibility.

Strategies
When I took over Villa’s social media accounts in the spring of 2024, I focused on differentiating the brand voice and identity across Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn. The LinkedIn post below highlights Villa’s commitment to exploring future-proofing methods for our company, and I utilized collaboration by tagging the speakers from the talk featured in the post to increase engagement and visibility.
