Welcome to my professional site. I am excited to share with you a bit about me and highlight my expertise as an experienced events and PR coordinator.

In 2023, I graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of Oregon with a Bachelor of Arts in Public Relations and a minor in Legal Studies.

Since graduating, I’ve curated a passion for event planning and PR coordination. I’ve raised over $500,000 through fundraising events, helped coordinate 40+ weddings, and led PR campaigns, including a full brand revamp within three months in my current role. I am excited about the prospect to be helping you next!

What I Do

I’m a PR and events professional with experience creating impactful initiatives. Over the past 2 years, I’ve coordinated weddings from start to finish and raised over $500,000 for the Los Angeles-based nonprofit Villa Esperanza Services through strategic event planning and communications.

I specialize in combining strong writing, creativity, and brand storytelling to craft memorable experiences that align with a company’s vision.

Whether it’s press releases, social media strategies, guest experiences, or event logistics, I deliver thoughtful, results-driven solutions.

My Values

Creativity is at the core of everything I do. Whether crafting décor from old cardboard boxes on a tight budget or reimagining a brand’s social media presence, I approach every project with a creative mindset focused on delivering engaging experiences.

I’m constantly seeking inspiration — whether through reading Vogue, curating Pinterest boards filled with bold fashion ideas, or traveling to new destinations. Traveling, in particular, fuels my creativity and expands my understanding of different cultures.

One formative experience was studying journalism and advertising in London. Engaging with Condé Nast executives and interviewing tourists at Borough Market sparked my love for the city’s vibrant energy and lifestyle, ultimately inspiring me to relocate to the UK.

Thalia is an exemplary employee. She did an incredible job coordinating her first gala in just two months, executing it with style and creativity while staying on top of all the logistics while being calm and organized. Not only did she learn everything there was to know about the gala in a short amount of time, she also brought new ideas to the table, making so much of the décor from scratch, which helped to elevate the event. Her creativity and enthusiasm are great assets to our events and our team, and she has shown great initiative in learning more about philanthropy and Villa’s mission. She is also a self-starter who is organized and thorough, and I can fully trust her to get any task done efficiently and well! In addition, she is very team oriented and has willingly picked up extra tasks, like helping with social media, marketing, and advocacy, which she has also done a great job with. She communicates well with other staff, donors, vendors, and our participants, and shows a strong appreciation for our mission. We are very lucky to have Thalia as a part of the team!
